Motorola MING A1600, A1800 and A810


Motorala Inc. just recently launched its latest PDA “MING” series – A1600, A1800 and A810. Derived from Motorola’s original MING, A1200, and these PDAs with its unique design and filled by innovative technology is now ready to serve its target market.


Still carrying out its original characteristic of transparent plastic flip cover, the A1600 and A1800 PDA, which is powered by Linux OS, feature a built-in GPS receiver. A1600 is equipped by a 3.2 megapixel camera, supports GSM/GPRS phone service (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and EDGE rubbing its speed. On the other hand, A1800 carries out almost the same as A1600, supports CDMA/GSM dual-mode dual standby, integrated incoming call/SMS firewall and a 3.0 megapixel auto-focus camera. Dual-SIM support is its noticeable edge.


A1600 and A1800 weigh a little over 128 grams and measures 3.8 x 2.0 x 0.7 inches. The 2.4-inch display offers 240 x 320 resolution, with 262K colors. Though pre-loaded with its nice feature and design, these cool gadgets are still missing 3G and Wifi.


Meanwhile, Motorala’s candy bar designed A810, running also in Linux OS, highlights its 2.4 inch TFT touchscreen display with 240 x 320 pixels and handwriting recognition, tri-band GSM connectivity (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with GPRS and EDGE. Integrated also in this gadget is the MP3 and video player and FM radio. Camera doesn’t carry out standing characteristic with 2.0 megapixel camera. A810 handset measures 105 x 51 x 14 millimeters and weighs exactly 100 grams.
