Hitachi will be launching 5TB hard drive in 2010

Hitachi is really pushing the power of hard drive to its maximum capability and storage limit. This Japan-based company is aiming forward to market a 3.5-inch hard drive that can contain up to 5TB by 2010.

Hitachi has really improved the space using the 'current perpendicular-to-the-plane giant magnetoresistance' technology (CPP-GMR). Using this tool, data density has been contained up to 1TB per square inch.

Now imagine the feeling of having this whooping storage... If you are having some problem with your disk space and wanting to have more, wait untill this hard drive is out.
