iPhone 3G is on its way

And the much awaited day for the iPhone 3G is coming near and obviously all the fans of the Apple technology are eager to have this gadget on their hands. This July 11, the cheaper, faster and lot friendlier iPhone 3G will be officially out in the market.

It’s been almost a year when Apple launched the most influential smart phone - iPhone. People are awed and astonished by the magnificence of this gadget yet some people had been put to a halt because this Apple’s release if quite pricy and lacking the ability to access the high-speed 3G network. But now after redefining its ability, iPhone 3G is on its way.

The base version of the new iPhone, which is the 8GB version, costs $199, sliced to half comparing it to the older iPhone. And the higher-capacity, the 16 GB version, is now $299 down from $499. The price may have gone down but the capability of the iPhone 3G is no place submerging also because has now the capability to access the speedy cellular technology 3G.

Packed also in iPhone 3G is the GPS chip for better location sensing. You can also try the App store where you can buy and get program from outside developers ranging from the social-networking to games. And on its physical features, nothing much changed, still carrying 3.5 inch multi touch display but is curve a bit better and weighs a little less compare to the old one.

But if this new iPhone is highlighting its 3G capability, I can also sense that this can be it’s own draw back. Since iPhone 3G still sticks to its original design of having a build-in battery, it will become a problem for the user because 3G signal eats up your battery power. There have been some testers of iPhone 3G noticed that the life of the battery is just good for one day (not unless you turn off the 3G).

But still this phone is still a mile stone for Apple Inc. And I will not be surprise that on July 11 it will become a big hit for all the crazy fanatic of this device.
